Hey there!

My name is Cassandra and I'm the face behind Mama Care Co. The idea for this company started from my own postpartum experiences. I am so thankful to be happily married for 7 years to my husband Nick and have 3 beautiful boys - all 4 and under. Like any first time Mom, I had so many baby items to prepare for my first son to arrive, and was so fortunate to have an awesome support system and health care team surrounding me. Then a beautiful but colicky baby arrived and my own physical recovery hit me like a ton of bricks. I had no idea how to prepare for it, let alone what (or if there were?) products I could use to recover. Fast forward less than 2 years later and we welcomed our second son into the world. While my physical recovery was easier (as it tends to be with Baby #2 - people aren't lying when they tell you that!), my mental recovery was a long and complicated road. I was so hesitant to reach out, and I had no idea where to turn or if there were products that could potentially help. Using both of my very different postpartum experiences, I started making "kits" consisting of my favourite products to help Moms recover during postpartum and gave them out as baby shower gifts. They were always SO well received - especially after baby was born. I got such joy from knowing that I was truly helping Moms in such a vulnerable and tough stage of life. Someone suggested that I start selling the kits and here we are! The kits are all made up of products that Moms ACTUALLY use. I'm not sponsored by any brands - these are just the brands and products that actually work. Each item is thoughtfully and individually packaged before it is sent out. Speaking as a Mom, the BEST thing you can give a new Mom (yourself included!) is the permission, time and the tools to recover well after having a baby - no matter what number of baby it is! These kits are a way to do just that.
